- TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), INC. (THI) was established in Buanoy, Balamban, Cebu, as a joint venture between the Tsuneishi Group - Japan and the Aboitiz Group.
1995
- Phase 1 was completed with Slipway No.1.1 was complete.
- THI acquired two floating docks for ship repairing business.
1996
- Ship Repair business started.
1997
- The first ship SC-001‘MV’ Sea Amelita was delivered.
1998
- THI received its certification and registration under Philippines Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
- THI obtained ISO 9002 from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK).
1999
- The first 45,000 deadweight metric ton type bulk carrier SC-011, ‘MV’ Mina Oldendorff was delivered.
2000
- The first 28,000 deadweight metric ton type bulk carrier SC-016, ‘MV’ Nin was delivered.
2001
- The first 52,000 deadweight metric ton type bulk carrier SC- 019, ‘MV’ Century Sea was delivered.
2002
- THI obtained ISO 9001:2000 from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK).
2003
- THI obtained ISO 14001:1996 from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK).
2004
- Phase 2 was completed with Sipway No. 2.
- THI received the Outstanding Environmental Performer Award from PEZA.
2005
- Slipway No. 2 was inaugurated by the former president of the Philippines Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
- Phase 3 expansion was completed.

- The first 58,000 deadweight metric ton type bulk carrier SC- 074, ‘MV’ Medi Lisbon was delivered.
2007
- The first Pure Car & Truck Carrier (PCTC) SC-089, ‘MV’ Hoegh Brasila was delivered was delivered.
- The 3rd PCTC was christened by the former president of the Philippines President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

- Phase 4 was completed equipped with a semi- tandem building dock that can build up to 180,000 deadweight metric ton type cape size bulker.
- Building Dock was inaugurated.
- The first N58,000 deadweight metric ton type bulk carrier SC- 109, ‘MV’ Bulk Titan was delivered
2010
- The first 82,100 deadweight metric ton type bulk carrier SC- 194, ‘MV’ AM Express was delivered.
- The first 180,000 deadweight metric ton type bulk carrier SC-185, ‘MV’ Tenshu Maru was delivered and named by the former president of the Philippines Benigno S. Aquino III.
2011
- THI received the Outstanding Employer Award and the Outstanding Community Projects Award from PEZA.
2012
- THI received the Outstanding Exporter Award from PEZA.

- THI received the Outstanding Exporter Award and the Outstanding Community Projects Award from PEZA.

- THI received the Outstanding Exporter Award and the Hall of Fame for Outstanding Community Projects Award from PEZA.
- THI received the Timonel Award for Outstanding Maritime Entity from Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA).
- THI was recognized with the Highest Distinction in a Tribute to Cebu’s Business and Investor’s Night by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

- The first ‘eco ship’ Z58,000 deadweight metric ton type bulk carrier SC-220, ‘MV’ Elenita was delivered.

- THI was declared as Labor Laws Compliant establishment by the Department of Labor & Employment (DOLE).
- THI received the Hall of Fame for Outstanding Exporter Award from PEZA.

- The first 3,200 PS type pusher boat SC- 316, ‘MV’ Utsumi was delivered.

- The first 38,000 deadweight metric ton type log and bulk carrier SC-286, ‘MV’ Weco Josefine was delivered.

- The first 1900TEU container ship SC-323, ‘MV’ CNC Neptune was delivered.
