1ST TSUNEISHI GROUP SUMMER SCHOOL 2013
The first Tsuneishi Group Summer School 2013 stretched from May 6-8 and 9, 2013 was a success. A total of 107 kids divided into two batches signed up for four sports programs; Basketball,Volleyball, Tennis and Football, and two learning programs; Japanese Language and Cooking. The first batch of 57 having enrolled to two or more programs was scheduled from May 6-8 while the second batch of 50 focusing only to one program was set on May 9.
TSUNEISHI JOINS EARTH HOUR 2013
Earth hour is celebrated worlwide to raise awareness on climate change. This is when everyone is encourage to turn off non-essential lights and appliances for at least an hour. Earth hour is developed by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and started at Sydney, Australia in 2007 and other countries followed the following year.
TSUNEISHI GROUP PLANTS 20,000 MANGROVES
Mangrove reforestation 2013 led by Cebu Industrial Park Developers Inc. (CIPDI) in coordination with Tsuneishi Foundation (Cebu) Inc. (TFCI) and in partnership with Balamban-Multi-Partite Monitoring Team (BMMT), Local Government Unit of Balamban and Barangay Nangka held its annual mangrove planting at Sitio Langsob, Barangay Nangka, Balamban, Cebu last February 16, 2013. 700 volunteers from the different stakeholders and Tsuneishi Group employees joined the activity.
WCFI GRADUATES & WCPSI TECHNICAL INTERNS
West Cebu Foundation, Inc. (WCFI) celebrated a graduation rite last February 1, 2013 at Tsuneishi Heavy Industries (Cebu), Inc. (THI) Training Center I for its 5th batch of 38 graduates who underwent a 404-hour Basic Japanese Language, Japan Cross Culture, Works Ethics and Pre-Departure Orientation. The school Head (yours truly), congratulated the graduates with inspirational message that "Japanes Language must be learned by heart, live with dignity and use as a guide to life and a survival kit/tool in a Japanese speaking community".
